The BCFA needs your voice. Will you join us?

Here’s what you can do to help:

You can sign our petitions: the Protect the Working Forest letter and the Fairy Creek letter.

You can find your MLA’s contact information here, Minister Conroy’s information here, and Premier Horgan’s information here.

You can help us counter anti-forestry voices by sending friends and family to our donate page

You can write a letter to your local newspaper, or to Letters@timescolonist.com.

You can call in to a radio show when forestry is being talked about.

You can spread the word to your friends and followers on social media.

You could hold up pro-forestry banners on overpasses (make sure to take photos and send them to local media).

Looking for stats on BC forestry?

See this economic impact fact sheet from COFI, industry facts from the BC Lumber Trade Council, or this fact sheet on mature forests from Naturally Wood and the BC government’s Forestry Innovation Investment agency.

The facts are on our side. Now let’s get our story out.

Our current campaigns

BCFA’s Forest Community Week of Action campaign asks you to respectfully call your MLA, Forest Minister Conroy, and Premier Horgan to share your concerns about forestry.

BCFA’s Fairy Creek Forestry Myths petition asks you to sign your name to our letter setting the record straight on the facts of BC forestry. Let’s counter the misinformation from anti-logging groups.

BCFA’s Protect the Working Forest petition asks you to sign your name on our letter to Premier Horgan and the BC government requesting a dedicated working forest land base.
